Well done on a great achievement, both Shane Wollenschlaeger and Dave Wicks have achieved their “pump certificate of competency” from ASIB. This is a great achievement for developing your own personal competencies, and puts Davron Equipment in a position to boast that as at the end of July 2017, that they are the only pump company to have achieved the “pump certificate of competency” with ASIB.

Davron Equipment focus on having the best and most competent staff, when compared to other pumps suppliers in the fire protection industry. To achieve this, in 2015 Davron Equipment sent to two staff members to attend the pump competency course as offered by ASIB.

We are proud to announce that as the questions became more difficult and the course became more challenging, and whilst other attendee’s on the course slowly withdrew and didnt pitch for the big day (exam time), our staff members both persevered and came out with a far greater understanding of pumps used inf fire protection and fire protection systems.

PUMP CERTIFICATE OF COMPETENCY Well done on a great achievement, Andre Momberg, Kyle Flanagan and Mike Shires have achieved their “Pump Certificate of Competency” from ASIB. This is a great achievement for developing your own personal competencies and re-enforcing Davron Equipment’s claim to be the best in our field, in all aspects. We are proud of our three colleagues noted above, who pushed through the challenges of studying whilst having to work, putting in the extra hours preparing for these exams which are known for their level of difficulty, and for persevering until they managed to pass. Davron Equipment not only place importance on having the most competent staff in the field, but place just as much emphasis on being a company that continually grows and improves through the development of staff. With the addition of these newest certificate holders, we believe we are well ahead in terms of being a company that delivers value to our clients, due to not only the many years of experience we have as a company, but also through the achievements of our staff and colleagues.

The Leonardo, a 240 room, all-suite hotel located at 75 Maude Street in Sandton, rises an impressive 234 metres above Sandton’s skyline, making it the tallest building in South Africa. Davron Equipment is proud to be the successful pump supplier for this Iconic building. A building boasting these statistics, requires careful design, engineering and sizing of the pumps, and no shortcuts are to be taken when dealing with the high pressures required by the pumps for this fixed fire protection solution. October 2021 will highlight two complete years since the pumps for this Iconic High-Rise building were successfully installed and handed over by Davron Equipment.
